How It Works
From first message
to final handoff.
Four steps, and no surprises in between. Here is what happens from the moment you get in touch to the point where the footage lands with your editor.
Tell us the story
Share the project, your dates, the cities, how many filming days you expect and how many people are involved. We reply with questions, a realistic plan and a quote.
We plan the ground
Locations, routes, travel timing and logistics get worked out in advance so filming days run smoothly. We agree the scope and the quote before anything is booked.
We film the journey
Lightweight kit, minimal footprint. We stay close to the subject and keep rolling through the moments that weren't planned.
Organized handoff
Unedited footage is organized and delivered by cloud storage or HDD/SSD — straight to your editor or international post-production team.
Before You Write
What to send with your inquiry.
The more of this you can share up front, the more useful our first reply will be. Rough answers are fine — nothing here needs to be final before you get in touch.
- Your project or story — what you are coming to Japan to do
- Dates you will be in the country
- Cities and locations you have in mind
- How many filming days you are thinking about
- An approximate schedule for those days
- How many people will be involved
- Whether you need transportation or local production support
Footage delivery
Your footage is organized — files sorted and named so an editor can open the drive or folder and start working. It is delivered by cloud storage or on HDD/SSD, whichever suits your team.
Editing
Editing is not part of the service. We shoot and hand off; the cut stays with your editor or post-production team, which keeps your post workflow exactly where you want it.
We do not publish turnaround guarantees or standard terms here, because both depend on the shape of your production. Everything about scope, timing and cost is agreed with you in writing before the shoot begins.
